Logo & Identity Work
Axon, based in Scottsdale, is the global leader in connected public safety technologies. The TASER X2 product launch was to mark the company's shift to double-shot technology, featuring a backup shot and warning arc to increase voluntary surrenders. My job was to design a logo along with the digital and print assets required for a new product launch.
The TASER X2 logo was created as a specific style to reveal the personality and voice of the TASER brand with an image that is both strong and discrete. The stylized X symbol revealed the number two within its negative space to reference the 2-shot capability of the device. The goal was to convey a global organization committed to protecting life.
